This position entails laying pipe for residential construction various site around lower mainland.
Job Description
Position: Skilled pipelayer
Location: Lower Mainland
Job type: Full time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:

Excavate trenches and prepare bedding material for pipe installation by following all safety protocols and regulations.

Installing civil utility components such as pipes and manholes to establish electrical, water, sanitary sewer, and storm systems.

Ensuring utilities are being installed at correct grade and elevations.

Utilizing a variety of tools and equipment, including but not limited to pipe lasers, cut-off saws, and hand tool.

Seal joints, connect pipes, and perform leak testing as required.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, project specification, and local standards.

Actively participate in daily and weekly crew meetings.

Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and equally motivated working independently.

Completing other on-site tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:

Experience installing sanitary, storm, and watermain utilities.

Ability to read stakes, plans, and laser levels.
- Knowledge of trench safety, pipe bedding, and utility installation.
- Experience working safely around heavy equipment.
- Possession of valid driver's license.
- Results-oriented leadership qualities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to commute / relocate:
Fraser Valley regional District, BC
Reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work is required.
